No. Wearing tight pants or clothes whilst pregnant will not effect or hurt your baby. The biggest problem you’ll face is your own discomfort.
Whilst your body continues to change you’ll find that one day your regular jeans or pants fit you just fine and the next day they are just that extra bit tight. If you don’t want to start buying maternity clothes, there are plenty of ways you can turn regular pants into maternity jeans.
Tight clothes, tops, jumpers, dresses and skirts do not cause your baby any concerns. Wearing a belly belt will also not hurt your baby. Your baby is well protected. There is a very good chance that you’ll be the one who will stop wearing them just like you would have done with normal clothes before you were pregnant.
