Overweight & Pregnant When Will I Start ShowingIt’s a proud moment when your tummy starts to show from being pregnant but what happens when you are overweight?

Many pregnant women are concerned about this issue and want to show off that baby bump as early as possible but ultimately the answer depends on a number of factors including your initial weight and how you carry the baby.

If you are overweight before you fall pregnant you may end up looking like you are further along than you are really are. Some moms start showing at 3 months and then by the 4th month they can’t even see their feet. Others don’t show until they are 6 months’ pregnant and in some cases, even later, around the 8 month mark.

Everyone is different and every mom carries their child differently; some moms have an all over round belly, others just pop out the front. You and your partner will definitely notice the changes in your body as you grow, especially when you are naked. And soon those around you will start noticing too.

By mentioning that you are pregnant in the first instance will help ease any concerns you may be feeling about this issue and take away any guesswork on the subject.

Putting your hand on your stomach will help make you look pregnant as will wearing cute t-shirts which happily and openly announce you are pregnant. Opting for maternity clothes or shirts with an empire waist, rather than regular plus sized clothing, will also place emphasis on the fact you are going to be a proud mom.

Don’t be too concerned with the numbers at this point in time as even some women with a slimmer build fail to show until the later months. You have enough to worry about as it is. Enjoy the fact you are pregnant and healthy, shout it from the rooftop and get ready to nurture your baby bump as and when it shows up.
